How to Play

Overview

Harmonybound is a card game of strategy and bluffing. Build a powerful tableau of three cards, form combos, and outplay your opponents to win the pot!

Game Flow

1. Ante Phase: Commit 1 point to the pot to participate in the round, or pass to sit out.

2. Play Phase: Take turns assigning cards to your slots or playing cards for their effects.

3. Showdown: When all slots are filled or someone calls a challenge, everyone reveals their tableau. Highest score wins the pot!

Your Tableau

You have three slots to fill:

• Conductor: Your leader card
• Bound I & II: Supporting cards

Once a card is assigned to a slot, it's locked for the round!

Card Effects

Minor Arcana cards have suit-based effects when played (discarded):

• Resonant (🟢): Draw 2 cards
• Silent (🟣): Peek at an opponent's hand
• Harmonic (🟡): Gain 2 bonus points this round
• Dissonant (🔴): Remove a card from an opponent's slot

Scoring

Your score = Card values + Combo bonuses + Effect bonuses

Major Arcana: 5 points | Herald: 6 | King: 5 | Queen: 4 | Knight: 3 | Number cards: 1-4

Victory

First player to reach 25 points wins! Or highest score after 10 rounds.
